A ‘Prabasi Asomiya Kendra’ has been set up in the Office Campus of Assam Industrial Development Corporation Ltd., R. G. Baruah Road, Guwahati which was inaugurated today on 18.07.2017 by Shri Chandra Mohan Patowary, Hon’ble Minister of Industries & Commerce, Govt. of Assam. 

The Kendra is dedicated to facilitate the people of Assam origin living abroad and as a centre to help and engage with Assam’s vast diaspora. It will also help facilitate them in the forthcoming Global Investor’s Summit to be held in the month of February, 2018 at Guwahati, Assam. 

The Kendra will work in tandem with the Prabasi Asomiya Kendra which has already been set up in the Office of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dispur, Guwahati.
